I'm Justin, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Jaguar Contract Cleaning Services – and the one behind the scenes making sure operations run seamlessly day to day.
With over 25 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry, I began my journey in 1998 working for one of the UK’s largest contractors – getting stuck in with hands-on work, including 5am oven cleans in student accommodation. Since then, I’ve worked across companies of all sizes, including helping to grow a start-up into a £1m+ business. That journey gave me the confidence and insight to take the leap in 2009 and start Jaguar Contract Cleaning Services after a long-term back injury made me reassess how to secure my future.
Sophie and I founded Jaguar with a shared vision: to build a cleaning company that actually delivers on its promises. One that prioritises people – not just profits – and takes pride in quality, consistency, and care. We wanted to create a business that doesn’t disappear after the contract is signed, and that treats clients and staff with the same respect and attention.
As Managing Director, I’m hands-on and involved every single day – overseeing schedules, managing teams, resolving issues, and ensuring we never compromise on standards. I believe in visibility, accountability, and action – qualities our clients value and rely on.
Our ethos is simple: we care. About our clients, our people, and doing the job right. We invest in what matters - high-quality equipment, materials, and people - not expensive lawyers tying you into long-term contracts. That’s why we offer a three-month breakout clause from the start and a rolling three-month notice period after your first year. We’re confident in the service we deliver and our clients stay with us by choice, not because they have to.
Outside of work, I enjoy family time, the occasional gym session, and – true to form – I still keep a mop in the van… just in case.

Hi I'm Sophie – co-founder of Jaguar Contract Cleaning Services, proud mum, and wife to the other half of this family-run business, Justin. Together, we created Jaguar with a simple but powerful goal: to raise the standards in commercial cleaning while putting people at the heart of everything we do.
My background spans over 15 years in the cleaning industry, giving me first-hand insight into the challenges businesses face when it comes to reliable, consistent, and high-quality cleaning. After working on the front line and behind the scenes, I knew we could do things differently – and better and that's how Jaguar was born.
From day one, our ethos has been built on integrity, care, and hands-on support. We don’t hide behind layers of management or make promises we cannot keep. We look after our staff like family and in turn, they look after our clients and that is why our team stays with us and why so many of our clients have too.
Today, I lead on all things marketing, client relationships, and business development. Whether I am managing campaigns, connecting on LinkedIn, or brainstorming our next big move, my focus is always on growing Jaguar in a way that stays true to our values – personal, professional, and people-first.
Outside of work, you will likely find me juggling school runs, hitting the gym, networking at events, or planning our next big charity challenge....because life and business is always better when you care.
Christine Richards
Administrative & Operations Manager
I joined Jaguar to support my son Justin during a period of rapid growth – and I’ve never looked back. While I didn’t come from a cleaning background, I brought with me decades of experience in managing people, staying organised under pressure, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
As Administrative & Operations Manager, I’m the one making sure the wheels don’t fall off. From handling staff queries and scheduling, to supporting client communications and keeping the back office in order, I pride myself on being able to turn my hand to almost anything – or knowing exactly who can.
I also play a key role out in the field – attending site visits, carrying out audits, and stepping in as a mobile cleaner when needed. Being hands-on helps me stay connected to the day-to-day realities of the job, support our team more effectively, and ensure we’re always delivering to the high standards Jaguar is known for.
I’m firm but fair, practical, people-focused, and always ready to get stuck in when the team needs support. Working with family can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding – and it’s been a privilege to be part of Jaguar’s journey since the early days.
Outside of work, I’ve always loved keeping active – I was a karate instructor for many years and proudly earned my black belt (though I leave the high kicks to the next generation these days!). But my greatest joy comes from being a Nan – a role I took on 12 years ago and one I wear with pride. Nothing beats time spent with my grandchildren.
